SUCCESSFUL FIRE SUPPRESSION
Fire Sprinkler Systems are the most effective fire protection strategy for many commercial and residential projects. An accurately designed system, correctly installed and maintained, reduces the risk of catastrophic property damage by 70% and loss of life by 80%. Sprinkler systems quell or extinguish fires early in the fire cycle, allowing residents and workers to evacuate safely in less time than it would take the fire department to arrive on the scene. In 2009 4.6% of occupied homes had sprinklers, in 2015 18.5% of occupied homes had sprinkler systems.
